Espey and Associates was founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1958 by Carl Espey. Terry McLaughlin was hired in 1979 to expand the territory into Indiana. Steve Meyer joined the company in 1991 and covered Northern Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. In 1998 Terry and Steve bought the agency. Casey McLaughlin joined Espey and Associates in 2005 and covers the Southern Ohio and Kentucky territories. In 2019 Terry McLaughlin retired and in 2020 Steve Meyer retired. Casey McLaughlin purchased the agency and is the sole owner and President of the company continuing the legacy Carl Espey started over 60 years ago.

Our territories include MANA areas 10, 11, 12, and 13.

We represent mid to large size metal manufacturing companies specializing in springs and wire-formed parts, zinc and Aluminum die cast parts, stamped and deep drawn metal parts, screw machined parts, powder metal parts, mechanical cable assemblies, custom fasteners, cold-headed parts, and specialty wire. Espey and Associates have represented many of these principles for over 25 years. Our in-field experience gives us the ability to find the right mix of customers for our principles. Our long-standing relationships with our principles have enabled us to grow with them into a strong multi-state organization. The major markets that we serve are medical, automotive, defense, appliance, lawn and garden, RV, Aerospace and general industrial applications.
